The Index

Offering a collective of Rare, Exotic and unseen items before and after, the various goods at the Index can provide reagents for those new projects and special tools or armor no one else can obtain without some flexibility.Many of her items helped in the creation of Aetherial powered armor and weapons. Her own personal blade is made of these materials forged by the hands of an experienced blacksmith to bring about it's morphing capabilities.Take the time and shop if you wish.

Unique Items

Old Tablets: A collective of Tablets dating back to the Fifth Astra Era before the War of the Magi are recorded on these Limestone slabs. Each one is quite heavy and may hold secrets yet unrevealed. Limit of one Tablet per customer. They will be wrapped up and given a Rune to prevent breaking. Handle with care!

Soul Shard Fragments: Recent Ventures to the Shade's Triangle has netted the Index with many pieces and fragments. They are inert outside of the Isle but I figured some people wouldn't mind holding onto old relics of the past for sentimental value and how far we've come from the various Job Stones of today. Lepidoptera Wing: This very strange and weird item has made it's way into the stock. It's a Morpho wing big enough to resemble a roll of cloth. The silky smooth and glittering blue unnatural material can easily make an outfit come to life! But it's secrets have yet to be truly uncovered...

Elementium Ingot: The specialty of The Index. Transmutated Heavy Metal Ingots infused with a portion of each known element in the world. The Prismatic Rainbow sheen on the silver surface can radiate inspiration and concepts from just holding it in your hands. Only the best of crafters can fully unleash the latent potency within these bars!

Prismatic Scales: A new test product of the Index. Taking the scales of Piscine Dwelling monsters and carefully gracing it with a cascade of aether interwoven into the ridges and gaps produces a rainbow of colors that can be easily fashioned into armor, jewelry or even a basis for powerful charms. The conductivity of each individual scale is not potent enough to be a Focus on it's own however. Each one roughly the size of a Hyur's palm and hand picked to be free of defects before the Transmutation Process.

Aether Infused Whetstone: Basilisk Whetstones with Elemental infusions in each bar attuned to a specific element with crystals found on the Isle known as Eureka. Sharpening your weapons upon these Medium Grit tablets will temporarily give them the corresponding elemental property. From Fire to Wind each one is available on demand and always in stock. The cheaper alternative for those who prefer the weapons they own already.

Tomestone Blueprints: As of late there had been a boon of interesting and new clothing, armor, tools and more spur upon by the Allagan Tomestones of old. Whether it is a device or weapon you seek feel free to ask The Index to show whatever is on the tomestone.

The Epics of Forescythe
The Epics of Forescythe is a nine volume tale written by the late Torashi Forescythe. The story goes that he created the first story as a means to tell his kids a bedtime tale, and from it came the inspiration to devise an entire legacy of stories from the world he called 'Pinnacle'.Each story details a part of the journey the titular character Forescythe was involved with and each one featured a special feline companion that guides and aids him until the end. The story is recognized as some of the greatest sagas penned during the Age of Stability in the Six Astral Era and copies of these tales are always in print. Sadly the ninth book was never published properly before his tragic battle with a disease. His family lineage continues to this day to read the ninth book vocally to audiences when possible instead of publishing copies whether orphanages, public events or parties for little pay.However I, the Index, came across information hidden within the original books. Not only did Torashi Forescythe write these lengthy tomes but he has also bound a familiar to each tome named after the feline companion of these stories as companions. These Original Books are assumed lost forever. Even the Ninth book the family owns is but a copy of the true original that remains to be found.
It is said that the Familiars are similar in many ways to Carbuncles with two differences:
1: They are based on various cats
2: They are not designed for combat
And summoning the familiar requires knowing the name of the creature in the book as well as the key phrase the hero shouts to call their companion to their side.The only way to know you own a true original copy is to detect the aether on the tome. If the Leylines on the cover make the shape of a cat, you own the original!I wish to own these originals and give the feline familiars a home where they may be free to live as they wish and not locked away in some Sharlayan Library.
